The sharpness, the high aperture the lack of zoom. I love how the world looks through my 50mm lens. I photograph the life around me and the countries I travel to. Denmark is my home and Carla is my muse. I've been photographing for half a year - this is what has come out of it so far. Welcome to my blog I hope you enjoy it. I'd love it if you'd leave a comment.

I absolutely love your photos! I was wondering what photo editing software you use, and how you use the b/w effect with a hint of color?
SvarSletThank you so very much - that makes me very happy :-)
SvarSletI must say that I use absolutely every program available.. I always shoot in RAW and for the first editing I do I use Canon's own program "Digital Photo Professional". I find it really good for adjusting exposure, sharpness, color temperature and so on. For color adjusting and effects I use Photoshop. But I still need a lot of training in Photoshop and I only know how to use the most simple features.
So here comes the trick..: I cheat a little :-) I'm sure there is a fancy-pancy way to keep just a hint of color in Photoshop, but I don't know how. So... I go to www.picnik.com, upload my photo, go to "create", click on "black and white" and then fade the effect around 15 %. Voilá! A wonderful b/w photo with a hint of color..
I know.. It's cheating. But it does the trick :-)
I hope that was helpful.
Take care and thank you for your comment.

Thank you, I found that very helpful! I will definately give it a go. Also, how do you cross process photos? Is photoshop the only program you can do that on, or is there a simpler way?
SvarSletThanks for sharing your secrets :)
