So.. Just got back from two weeks of holiday in Hawaii.. Oh yes! In a weird way I always find myself drawn to these spikey flower things you see in tropical places. So artistic and symmetric in an asymmetric way.
The sharpness, the high aperture the lack of zoom. I love how the world looks through my 50mm lens. I photograph the life around me and the countries I travel to. Denmark is my home and Carla is my muse. I've been photographing for half a year - this is what has come out of it so far. Welcome to my blog I hope you enjoy it. I'd love it if you'd leave a comment.

Kinda abstract
I don't like editing my photos too much - they always turn out too far from reality. However with this one I went all the way. High saturation, softness and cloned.. The original is from the orchid house in the botanical garden in Copenhagen. A plain red flower bud turning techno.
Which version do you prefer?

Orchids on the windowsill
In summer I spend most days in my rose garden enjoying the colorful flowers unfold themselves and spread their sweet scent of summer. In winter while the roses are asleep my orchids get the attention. 11 of them are blooming these days. These pictures are of my Cymbidium and Dendrobium.

Australian flowers
I don't know much about flowers. These may not be Australian native flowers but they are all found in Australia in various gardens, parks and zoos. Flowers are perfect models.
I prefer using a narrow dof when I shoot pictures of flowers. Gives them a more romantic look, I think. f/ 1.4 - 2.0
